Healthcare cards Donation

On June 18th we donated health care cards to 50 families from the village of Kivumu, Burundi. It enables families to have regular checkups with the Doctors, and to buy medicine at significantly reduced cost. Each card cost only $5 and gives access to medical services for the whole year.

These donations are making a large impact in the lives of families. Normally, if a family falls ill they receive no treatment, leading to school, or employment absence and no wages. With this card, individuals receive immediate access to health benefits. Thanks to our sponsors, we provided health cards to over 400 families since 2012.
