East Africa and COVID-19

As COVID-19 rocks the entire world, we are doing our part to slow the spread in the communities we serve in East Africa. We are training families in Burundi and Rwanda to use proper hygiene practices and how to prevent this corona virus from touching them or their loved ones. We are teaching everything from diligent hand washing to social distancing (staying two metres apart). We care so much for those living in destitute regions where clean drinking water is harder to attain. Wings of Hope for Africa has donated soap to our sponsored children and their families so they can have good hygiene. As of Sunday, April 5, 2020, Burundi has three cases of COVID-19 and Rwanda has 104. Please keep Burundi and Rwanda in your prayers. We will continue to give additional training in the communities where we do such important work. Thanks to our sponsors financial generosity! If you wish to give to these important causes, please click the Donate link in the top menu.

We’re a registered charity dedicated to family welfare, empowering communities & developing self-sufficiency programs to end poverty in Burundi and Rwanda, East Africa, and in Calgary, Canada.
