3rd Phase Harvest Kivumu Garden – October 2017

It’s Harvest Time! Our long awaited Wheat harvest at the Kivumu Community Garden has started. end of September, our sponsored families are busy harvesting Wheat .60% of crops will be sold, 20% will be kept by the families for own use, 20% of seeds from crops retained for the next families.The garden has made an enormous difference in the lives of our participants, the harvest will enable them to eat regular meals and have enough left over to supply a small Business .
