Wings of Hope for Africa’s 2nd back to school project. We made it possible for children to attend school by providing them with supplies – books, uniforms, writing tools, and other supplies. We began our Back to School program in 2012, and so far have helped over 200 children attend school. Since 2012, an estimated $6,000 has been raised, all from private donations.
A million thanks, dear supporters!
W.H.A sponsored a Community Garden project to cultivate rice. Here is the harvest and the happy participants, now able to sustain themselves. This project is supporting dozens of families and the village in which they live within Buterere. We are hoping to grow the project by purchasing a permanent site for the garden.
Rices, beans, flour, and green bananas were donated to 9 sponsored families, which they can gradually sell at the market to sustain themselves. W.H.A is focused on developing economic sustainability and growth leading to reduced poverty and increasing quality of life.

Preventative care is important to us at W.H.A. Thank you to all our supporters for your compassion to needy families of Buterere, Burundi.
