Frozen Food Donation

In March, Wings of Hope for Africa went on a cross-city grocery trek! We donated 454 kg of fresh potatoes and 2722 kg of an assortment of frozen food (including chicken and vegetables) to families in need across Calgary

These are difficult times for many low-income families and single parents of school-age children that we support in Calgary. As grocery bills continue to rise and the cost of living escalates, it’s important to help those in need.

We also identify other resources to these families so they can get a hand up in life. These include free or low-cost food programs, low-income housing and shelters, as well as work supports.

Wings of Hope for Africa thanks all of its donors, volunteers and others who have made this positive program a continued success! These families are truly grateful for your generosity in 2022.
