Back To School Campaign
My name is Aline Nzeyimana, I am the founder of Wings of Hope for Africa Foundation. Originally from Burundi, I have been living in Canada for eleven years now. I started Wings of Hope for Africa out of compassion for children in need. This is our back to school campaign.
The 2023 back to school campaign is very important to me because I believe that education is a powerful tool to create a world where anything is possible. I believe that educating children can be a way to break the cycle of poverty—within children, families, communities and even whole countries. Please support this cause by sending a child back to school.
Campaign
Donating $50 will provide school supplies, uniforms, bags and shoes to a child who needs our help in Burundi, East Africa. In Calgary, Canada, the cost of school ranges from $80 – $200 and donations will provide school supplies. New school supplies may also be donated to our Calgary office, 152 Skyview Point Green NE between 8am and 6 pm on week days. Your generous contributions will help ensure that every child has the tools to succeed. Together, let’s pave the way to a brighter future full of hope and opportunity.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 before September 2nd 2023, so we can send 100 children back to school.
Back to school is very important and can make a huge difference in impacting the lives of children. This is our 12th back to school campaign. You can check out our previous campaigns on our website or on our YouTube channel and see how the children’s lives have improved.
We uphold our vision with integrity. We are open to sharing any information about our charity that you might want to look at, including our annual reports. Please remember we are a very small team of volunteers relying completely on donations, which will go directly to the source. We rely on your help to spread the word about what we do. Please be a blessing to others, let your light shine so others in darkness can see that they have a way out. Through the power of education this will be the key.
