Back To School Campaign
My name is Aline Nzeyimana, I am the founder of Wings of Hope for Africa Foundation. Originally from Burundi, I have been living in Canada for Ten years now. I started Wings of Hope for Africa out of compassion for children in need. This is our back to school campaign.
The 2022 back to school campaign is very important to me because I believe that education is a powerful tool to create a world where anything is possible. I believe that educating children can be a way to break the cycle of poverty—within children, families, communities and even whole countries. Please support this cause by sending a child back to school.
Campaign
When you donate $50/child you will be providing school supplies, uniforms, bags and shoes to children who need our help to build a future.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 before September 2nd 2022,so we can send 100 children back to school.
Back to school is very important and can make a huge difference in impacting the lives of children. This is our 11th back to school campaign. You can check out our previous campaigns on our website www.wingsofhopeforafrica.ca and see how the children’s lives have improved.
We uphold our vision with integrity. We are open to sharing any information about our charity that you might want to look at, including our annual reports. Please remember we are a very small team of volunteers relying completely on donations, which will go directly to the source. We rely on your help to spread the word about what we do. Please be a blessing to others, let your light shine so others in darkness can see that they have a way out. Through the power of education this will be the key.

Wings of Hope for Africa Foundation is a Canadian registered non-profit organization based in Calgary, Alberta. Founded in 2011, we are dedicated to improving the quality and value of life of children and families in Burundi,Rwanda, East Africa and in Calgary Alberta. Our mission is to relieve poverty by implementing agriculture initiatives, providing basic tools for education, and by aiding with health care provisions and medical supplies to persons in need. We strive to create equal opportunities for everyone and to see the poor uplifted from desperate poverty to joyful self-sufficiency.
Since 2011, we have successfully completed over 200 projects in Burundi, ranging from education, healthcare, income generation, to disaster relief. We are committed to complete transparency and excellence throughout all of our activities.
